Pastor Tony Pérez was born in Philadelphia, PA. He also lived in Lansdale, PA, and Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. He received God's Gift, Jesus Christ by faith at the age of 19. Shortly thereafter the Lord called him to serve in His ministry.

Pastor Tony and Jessica Pérez met in 1984 as they were preparing for a life of service to the Lord. Pastor Tony graduated with a degree in Bible Education in 1985 and Jessica graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in 1986. They were married in July of 1986. Pastor Tony began studies at Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary in the fall of 1986. He graduated with a Masters in Divinity in May of 1990. He also received a diploma in Counseling in 1991 from CBTS.

Pastor Tony and Jessica have four children. Manny was born in 1990, Lisette was born in 1992, Cristina was born in 1998, and Jarred was adopted in 2009. Jarred was born in 2002.

Pastor Pérez and his wife Jessica started Bethany Baptist Church in their home during the summer of 1990. A small Bible study grew into what now has become a wonderful family of faith. To God be the Glory!
